Every time I come to Japan I go to Aya. It's my favorite place here in Japan. The mountain town of Aya has 88% of it's original Lucidophyllous Forest, which is native to south-western Japan. Two rivers run through Aya the Ayakita and the Ayaminami. The town has established a Biosphere Reserve and is registered with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO). The town has done a great job protection its beautiful nature. It is truly a magical place.
