I had the opportunity to take Takako and my son Yuma to my favorite Okonomiyaki Restaurant here in Miyazaki. Takako and I have not been to Suzu Okonomiyaki for 26 years ago. Okonomiyaki is basically grilled meat, seafood and vegetables in pancake batter. My favorite is okonomiyaki made with potatoes. Jun the owner has been grilling at his restaurant for 29 years, on the same grill top. His place has less than a dozen seats which makes the experience intimate. You are eating off the grill!
