I decided to go to Sri Lanka at the last minute and it turned out to be a great choice. My son and I had a amazing adventure driving around the small island nation. The people are magical, the landscape is so diverse and the wild life is like nowhere else on the planet We started in Colombo, also known as Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, the capital city in a country that used to be know as Ceylon. Humans have been coming here for at least 125,000 years. My great grandfather Otto Olsen set foot here 100 years ago. Now it's our turn to explore this magical island in the Indian Ocean. We decided the best way to explore the island was with a rental car. There were some crazy situations with hugh traffic jams, people, cars, bikes, and all kinds of animals on the road, going every which way, Dharma over chaos.
